STIHL gas canisters have UN approval, which makes them ideal for transporting fuels, as well as storing them. We also have various filling systems to make sure that you don’t waste any fuel or oil, or overfill the tank of your tool.

Our gas canisters are available in different sizes. Thanks to the outlet pipe that comes with the canister, you can be sure that the fuel is actually ending up in the tool.

With our double container for fuel and chain oil, you will be ideally equipped for working in the garden or forest all year round. The canister has a larger tank for fuel and a smaller one for chain oil, and you can get different capacities depending on how much fuel and chain oil you use.

As well as being available in different sizes, our combination canisteris also available with different features. While outlet pipes are included with every version, you can opt for a canister with childproof caps if you wish. To ensure that your tool and filling system are always close to hand on the canister, there are double containers with two practical and easy-to-mount holders.

Do you mix your fuel yourself? Then you can choose the right STIHL measuring beaker for preparing fuel mixtures depending on how much you need. These are suitable for mixing up to 5 l or up to 25 l of fuel, which you can then store in STIHL canisters. For small quantities up to 1 l, use the handy mixing bottle for mixing and decanting fuel mixtures.

Use the STIHL filling system for fuel or chain lubricant to make sure nothing goes wrong when you’re pouring the substances into the fuel canister or combination canister. Our filling systems stop you from spilling fuel or oil and from overfilling the tank. Make refuelling, decanting and dispensing a clean, safe process, rather than a tricky chore. PREPPING YOUR STIHL POWER TOOLS FOR WINTER

Before their winter break, make sure you empty the tanks of your gas tools. This will reduce the risk of problems when you try and start them up again in spring. Empty the fuel into a sealed STIHL canister. To remove the last fuel residues from the machine, let it idle until it switches off on its own accord. Why is this necessary? Because it empties the tank and intake hoses, meaning that the sensitive small parts of the carburettor will not get clogged. It also increases the service life your tool.

While you need to empty the gas tank before long periods of downtime, you should fill the chain lubricant tank on saws as much as possible and ensure that the oil tank on your lawn mower is full.
