MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE INCREASE. Thanks to intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.

CONSTANT POWER, REGARDLESS OF BATTERY CHARGE STATUS. With other brands of battery tools, the performance usually decreases during work as the battery discharges. This is not the case with STIHL cordless power tools with CONSTANT POWER. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your STIHL power tool works with consistently high power.
CONSTANT POWER
RELIABLE STARTING IN COLD TEMPERATURES. Batteries only work at full power in ideal temperatures. If it is too cold, it usually takes time for the battery to warm up. Thanks to the cold start function, the tool is ready to start immediately, even at low temperatures down to -20°C, and offers almost the same output as at ideal temperatures.

VERY LONG BATTERY LIFE. STIHL batteries are extremely durable and resistant. They are designed for particularly high demands, as can typically occur in very intensive applications with high power requirements. The is based not only the exceptionally robust design, but also the special, particularly long-lasting battery cell technology. Thanks to their intelligent electronics, these STIHL batteries can also be charged more often and faster than average.
LONG LIFE
OPTIMAL CONTROL THROUGH COMMUNICATION. Battery power tools, batteries and chargers from STIHL continuously exchange information with each other so that the energy supply can be optimised during work and charging. At the same time, this protects the battery from deep discharge or overcharging, guarantees thermal stability and protects the battery in the best possible way. Smart Control ensures precise monitoring and control of all important battery parameters: this means, for example, that potential overheating is detected at an early stage and the power of the battery power tool is reduced accordingly. In most cases, you can then finish the work you have started with reduced performance.
SMART CONTROL
SUPPORTS BATTERY DURABILITY. Maintaining an optimal operating temperature is crucial for the most efficient operation of batteries. For this reason, air is directed through the housing to cool STIHL batteries. In addition, the cells in the battery are thermally connected in such a way that heat can be dissipated efficiently. This allows heat to be dissipated quickly and effectively, and excessive temperature differences can be avoided.

GENTLE AND FAST CHARGING. Innovative cell technology and intelligent charging profiles mean that STIHL batteries can be charged particularly quickly, but that is not all. Our charging system also offers the advantage of fast-charging the batteries in a particularly gentle manner. In addition, extended charging temperature ranges for STIHL batteries improve charging time, as cooling breaks can be significantly reduced.
FAST CHARGE
PROTECTION FROM SPRAYING WATER. The IPX protection ratings define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. The moisture protection test is defined in different stages. IPX5 certifies protection against spraying water from all sides. As such, battery tools with this certification are designed for daily use, even in rainy conditions.

INTEGRATION INTO STIHL CONNECTED. A Smart Connector is integrated in the battery.
