The ALLPRO battery system is the new generation of STIHL batteries for professional use and the further development of previous AP batteries. It includes five batteries in two series: The standard series (AP 20 and AP 30) is based on tried-and-tested lithium-ion cells and is an inexpensive entry into the system. The performance series (AP 200 P and AP 300 P C) relies on tabless cell technology for more peak performance, fast charging and a particularly long service life. The central advantages of the AP system are retained: all ALLPRO batteries are fully compatible with over 60 power tools.
Yes – ALLPRO batteries are fully compatible with all power tools in the STIHL AP system. This means that You can use the new batteries directly in over 60 power tools without having to change anything in your existing range. Your previous investment in AP power tools is fully protected.
The following also applies to charging: existing STIHL chargers from the AP system continue to work with ALLPRO batteries. For full charging power - especially high-speed charging in just 10 minutes* - we recommend the AL 1602 MO.

The AP 20 and AP 30 battery models have been developed directly from the tried-and-tested AP system – the right choice for anyone who already owns STIHL battery power tools and can do without high-speed charging and low weight. The AP 200 P is the all-rounder for most machines – for example, the MSA 200 chainsaw. The AP 300 P C delivers maximum runtime and performance for all-day and intensive applications, such as tree maintenance or on the construction site.
The high performance of the ALLPRO batteries is primarily based on tabless cell technology. This is part of the performance series of ALLPRO batteries (AP 200 P and AP 300 P C) and ensures consistently high continuous and peak power, high-speed charging and over 3,000 charging cycles* – the AP 20 and AP 30 models rely on tried-and-tested lithium-ion cells.

Definitely not. The AP 300 P C offers higher power with almost the same runtime as the AP 500 S. In addition, the AP 300 P C charges faster, making it economically worthwhile.
