Features

Cut protection clothing is classified in 4 cut protection ratings in accordance with EN ISO 11393. The cut protection rating specifies the maximum chain speed tested in accordance with standard conditions. Rating 1 corresponds to a chain speed of 20 m/s.
CUT PROTECTION RATING 1 FOR CHAINSAWS
VERY COMFORTABLE TO WEAR AND GOOD WEATHER PROTECTION. The protective equipment is completely or partially made of a waterproof and simultaneously breathable material, making it very comfortable to wear. Excess body heat is wicked to the outside.
BREATHABLE WATER PROTECTION
PROTECTION DURING FORESTRY WORK. Cut protection safety pants with design A in accordance with EN ISO 11393, have cut protection that covers your front lower body and 5 cm of the back left leg. Design A is intended for use in normal wood harvesting work by pros who have been thoroughly trained and instructed, for example.
CUT PROTECTION SAFETY PANTS DESIGN A
FOR HIGH COMFORT. Your protective clothing should protect you, but also allow you the greatest possible freedom of movement, which is achieved with full-stretch material. The fully elastic fabric stretches in all directions for excellent comfort.
FULL STRETCH
FOR EXCELLENT FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT. The ProElast Stretch insert is elasticated not only at the crotch, but also at the trouser legs for particularly comfortable wear. The ProElast stretch insert in the crotch also offers flexibility if the wearer needs to get into extreme positions, facilitating a high degree of freedom of movement. To enable this, the cut protection in the crotch has not been sewn together, but is instead connected by an elastic insert.
PROELAST STRETCH INSERT
FOR COMFORTABLE WORK. The individually adjustable waist width with Velcro fastener makes working particularly comfortable. This means that the fit can be optimally adapted to different body shapes and is therefore suitable for both women and men, making working for longer periods of time more pleasant.
WICKS HEAT AND SWEAT TO THE OUTSIDE. Its breathable material makes it comfortable to wear, even when you’re working hard. This is because moisture is wicked to the outside, while fresh air is let in.
BREATHABILITY
INCREASE WORK COMFORT. Ventilation openings allow you to control the temperature inside your personal protective equipment. Simply open or close the ventilation openings as required.
ADJUSTABLE VENTILATION OPENINGS
PROTECTS AGAINST WEAR AND SCRATCHES. The use of particularly robust materials in exposed, high-stress areas increases the durability of your workwear. On the one hand this protects against rapid wear and tear, but it also prevents material damage and injuries from thorns.
ABRASION AND THORN PROTECTION
FOR MORE VISIBILITY. Stay visible even in poor conditions, to avoid accidents. The high proportion of bright orange in accordance with EN ISO 20471 makes your protective clothing more eye-catching. This standard specifies the minimum surface area for high-visibility colour and retroreflective strips.
HIGH PROPORTION OF HIGH-VISIBILITY COLOUR
BETTER VISIBILITY. Reflective areas not only look good on your protective clothing, but also increase your safety. They mean that you will always be easy to see, even in the dark or in the forest.

DYNAMIC DuroTEC Safety Pants - Class 1: Are engineered with stretch fabric, durable protection and breathable comfort to support all outdoor work with your STIHL equipment

STIHL DYNAMIC DuroTEC cut‑protection safety pants are durable, breathable and designed for professionals and dedicated private users working in forestry, agriculture, landscaping and gardening. The regular‑fit design combines comfort, flexibility and high visibility.

A tough outer fabric on the front, elastic stretch material on the back, and a flexible ProElast crotch insert provide excellent freedom of movement. Waterproof, breathable thorn and abrasion protection shields the knees and lower legs, while elasticated cuffs with hooks secure the safety pants to footwear and prevent sawdust ingress.

Ventilation zips on the thighs allow temperature control during strenuous work, and the breathable lining helps maintain comfort. An adjustable waist ensures a secure fit for both men and women.

Multiple practical pockets—including zipped side and thigh pockets, a back pocket, ruler pocket and key pocket—keep essentials close to hand. Braces can be attached via buttons or Velcro, and a first aid zip pull is included.

The modern black and high‑visibility orange design with neon green accents and reflective elements ensures excellent visibility in low‑light conditions. The lining and cut‑protection material are made from recycled polyester, with a PFAS‑free water‑ and dirt‑repellent finish (excluding the high‑visibility sections).

Machine washable at 60 °C, the DuroTEC range is available as safety pants, and pairs perfectly with STIHL DYNAMIC DuroTEC jacket.
