Features

Cut protection clothing is classified in 4 cut protection ratings in accordance with EN ISO 11393. The cut protection rating specifies the maximum chain speed tested in accordance with standard conditions. Rating 1 corresponds to a chain speed of 20 m/s.
CUT PROTECTION RATING 1 FOR CHAINSAWS
FLEXIBLE AND QUICKLY ATTACHED CUT PROTECTION. Chaps with cut protection in design B, in accordance with EN ISO 11393, cover the front lower body and 5 cm towards the rear of both legs. Chaps are attached with straps and are suitable for occasional use, as you can keep work shoes on while putting them on, and also appropriate for warm climates.

STRETCH ZONES

STIHL FUNCTION Core Chaps offers good protection for all chainsaw applications and uses straps so it can be conveniently put on over work trousers and taken off without needing to remove shoes.

Elasticated connections in the crotch area and on the straps contribute to a greater range of movement. A thigh pocket, ergonomically moulded knees and high breathability are further advantages of the STIHL FUNCTION Core Chaps. In addition, multiple users can share these practical chaps and take turns using them, thanks to the adjustable straps.

The stylish design of the FUNCTION Core cut protection safety pants features neon green applications and an individual, striking look which emphasises their functionality.

STIHL FUNCTION Core front leg protection is machine washable at 60°C and can be spun at 400 rpm.
