Features

Cut protection clothing is classified in 4 cut protection ratings in accordance with EN ISO 11393. The cut protection rating specifies the maximum chain speed tested in accordance with standard conditions. Rating 1 corresponds to a chain speed of 20 m/s.
CUT PROTECTION RATING 1 FOR CHAINSAWS
PROTECTION DURING FORESTRY WORK. Cut protection safety pants with design A in accordance with EN ISO 11393, have cut protection that covers your front lower body and 5 cm of the back left leg. Design A is intended for use in normal wood harvesting work by pros who have been thoroughly trained and instructed, for example.

The FUNCTION Ergo Safety Pants are made of a hardwearing polyester/cotton material, making them both durable and extremely comfortable to wear. Developed with the tree care professional in mind, the pants meet the EN 381-5, Type A (front protection), Class 1 (3,900 feet per minute), cut protection standard.
