HLA 56 – AK System

The lightweight STIHL HLA 56 battery long-reach hedge trimmer is ideal for cutting taller hedges, shrubs and ground cover in your home yard and other noise-sensitive environments. The STIHL HLA 56 uses lithium-ion batteries from the STIHL AK-System.

With its ergonomically optimised control handle, you have all the controls at your fingertips. The loop handle also supports handling of the STIHL HLA 56 battery long-reach hedge trimmer, even in confined spaces. The single-sided blades in a teardrop shape for holding twigs in the cutting blade enable high cutting performance. With tool-free blade angle adjustment, you can easily adjust the blade angles through 135°, from -45° to +90°, for cuts overhead and to the side. The screw-on tip protector protects the cutting attachment during work close to the ground. Our video shows you how to effortlessly cut back tall hedges and ground cover with the HLA 56.

Thanks to the detachable shaft, you can shorten the overall length from 210 cm to 115 cm, making the long-reach hedge trimmer easy to transport and compact to store on a wall bracket.
