AP Tether Adapter: Lightweight Power, Longer Runtime & Added Safety for Tree Service Saws
The AP 2-in-1 strap adapter is a highly practical accessory for battery-powered tree service saws, especially when performing numerous large cuts in a short time—such as during professional conifer logging. By transferring the battery to a belt-mounted strap, the saw’s weight is significantly reduced, enabling you to work more efficiently and for longer periods.
This adapter also allows you to use the STIHL AP 500 S battery, which offers a higher capacity for extended cutting before a battery change is needed. Beyond power supply, the strap provides additional safety as a fall protection system. The battery case includes an emergency release and overload protection for added security.
The AP 2-in-1 strap adapter is compatible with MSA 161 T, STIHL MSA 190 T and MSA 220 T battery tree service saws and can be easily inserted into the saw’s battery compartment.
