CONSTANT POWER
FOR DUST BINDING AND COOLING. When working with your power tool, a permanent water supply is provided for flushing the cutting wheel. It is used to bind dust and cool the cut. With the water connection directly on the power tool, this rinsing is easy and permanently assured.
EXTENDS THE BELT’S SERVICE LIFE. Semi-automatic STIHL belt tensioning makes it easier for you to re-tension the drive belt. All you need is to adjust the adjustment screw with your spark plug wrench. Consistent tension extends the service life of the belt and bearing. For more detailed information on re-tensioning, please refer to the operating instructions of your power tool.
FOR PRECISE GUIDANCE. With the ergonomic handle, you can keep a firm grip on your power tool and carry out cuts precisely, even when dealing with very hard stone. The curved handle offers you an optimised grip position and the highest level of comfort when working.

The STIHL TSA 500 is a powerful battery-powered cut-off machine designed for professional use in landscaping, construction, rescue work, and fire services. Running on two AP 500 S batteries, it delivers strong, versatile cutting performance on materials like steel, concrete, brick, and natural stone—indoors or outdoors thanks to its emission‑free operation.

Its high‑efficiency EC motor runs quietly with low vibration and minimal wear, while an electronic control system maintains consistent power throughout the battery cycle. A built‑in magnetic filter protects the motor from metal dust, ensuring long service life and easy cleaning when used frequently on steel.

The TSA 500 is easy to operate with an ergonomic control handle, digital interface, ADVANCE PLUS module with integrated STIHL Smart Connector, and a clear LED display. Rigid, ergonomic handles provide precise control. It supports 14" cutting wheels for up to 5" cutting depth, with various wheel options available depending on the application.

A runout brake with energy recuperation stops the wheel within seconds and feeds energy back into the battery. The standard water connection effectively reduces dust, and the adjustable magnesium guard with integrated water guide improves visibility and protection.
