MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE INCREASE. Thanks to intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.

This is not the case with STIHL cordless power tools with CONSTANT POWER. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your STIHL power tool works with consistently high power.

IMPROVE CONTROL. With robust and durable smooth-running wheels, you can keep track of your lawn mowing easily and effortlessly. Thanks to their traction and directional stability, these smooth-running wheels can be effortlessly manoeuvred to support careful and comfortable lawn maintenance.
COMFORTABLE WORKING AND STORAGE. The comfort handlebar is only mounted on one side of the lawn mower, making it easier for you to remove the grass collection box. As the handlebar is height-adjustable, it enables you to mow your lawn comfortably and ergonomically. You can adjust it to your preferred height without using tools. As the handlebar is also foldable, the lawn mower can be compactly stored and transported.
FOR INDIVIDUAL SPEED ADJUSTMENT. Vario wheel drive allows you to adjust the speed of your lawn mower to suit your personal mowing habits and grass conditions. The mowing speed can be adjusted on a an infinitely variable basis via the control lever on the handlebar.
VARIO WHEEL DRIVE
ENERGY-EFFICIENT WORKING. Flow-optimized blades mean your lawn mower uses less electricity; as a result, you can use cordless mowers to mow larger areas with the same amount of energy, even without charging. The blades trim the grass with minimal air resistance, making optimal use of the stored energy.
FLOW-OPTIMIZED BLADES
EASY EMPTYING. Your lawn mower is equipped with a folding grass collection box to make emptying clippings very straightforward. The fill-level indicator signals the right time for emptying. An airstream ensures dense filling while mowing, so you can make optimum use of the full volume of the box. The slats on the side of the box direct the air towards the ground, which protects you from dirt being swirled up.

The STIHL RMA 453 PV battery lawn mower combines a 51 cm cutting width with Vario wheel drive to make mowing medium‑sized lawns and sloped areas noticeably easier for home gardeners. With the digital HMI control panel, you can adjust your mowing speed anywhere between 0 and 4.6 km/h, tailoring the mower to your pace and terrain.

The RMA 453 PV also features sequential battery discharge, automatically switching to the second STIHL AP System battery when the first one is depleted. This eliminates manual battery changes and ensures efficient mowing of larger areas. 

Equipped with a multi‑blade, integrated mulching function, and side discharge, this mower easily adapts to your preferred cutting method. You can collect clippings in the spacious 55‑litre folding grass catcher or spread them across the lawn via side discharge. The folding, height‑adjustable comfort handlebar ensures ergonomic operation, while the central cut‑height adjustment offers 7 settings from 20 mm to 100 mm to achieve your ideal lawn finish.
